According to Justin Cheung‘s count from GT Spirit there are currently four Lamborghini Aventadors with ski racks in the world.
One of them being the “Snowventador” from Vancouver, who’s proud oner is Mahdiar AhHe has an extensive collection of European and specifically Italian exotics ranging from the Ferrari 430 Scuderia to the Ferrari FF and everything in between.
The Lamborghini Aventador is one of just a few supercars that are all-wheel drive. Some of the other competitors with all-wheel drive in terms of exotics and quasi-exotics include the Audi R8, Nissan GT-R and Bugatti Veyron. Last winter, Mahdiar was thrilled to be one of the first owners in Canada to pick up the new Ferrari FF. With an evident rivalry between the two Italian marquees I was interested to know how the Ferrari FF and the Lamborghini Aventador compared in terms of using it as a winter driver hitting the slopes.
Mahdiar noted that he absolutely loves the presence of the Lamborghini Aventador, as with any ol’ Lamborghini anywhere, when hitting the slopes at Whistler. The car drives splendidly in the snow as one would expect with the all-wheel drive capabilities, especially in combination with the 330 wide Pirelli tires in the rear. He did note that although the Aventador has more pizaaz, the FF is very much so still a wonderful winter driver. In fact the FF is incredibly practical in the snow as it too has 4-wheel drive capabilities and does not require additional modifications to carry skis- unlike the Snowventador.
