Val Thorens, France is one of those luxury ski resorts that every has heard of, and rightly so. It is snowsports paradise offering some of the most pristine ski conditions in the world.

- The resort is Europe’s highest altitude resort and also the highest point in the 3 Vallées ski area (the largest ski area in the world with over 600 kilometres of runs).
- 99% of the ski area is situated above 2,000 metres, so the resort is renowned for the quality of its snow. Situated in a vast natural cirque overlooked by 6 glaciers, the Val Thorens ski area offers a multitude of itineraries so you can ski in the sunshine all day long.
- The resort is set up to be ski in ski out, so you can pop back to your hotel or chalet if you forgot a glove!
- Guests are able to ski right on in to their accommodation or head back in if they forgot something. Between its powder snow fields and perfectly groomed runs, performance doesn’t even come into it; the Val Thorens ski area offers great snowsports to beginners and experienced skiers alike, whatever their ability level!
- It is one of the few resorts that has different ski pass combinations available for the 3 ski areas accessible from the resort: Val Thorens – Orelle (150 kilometres of runs), La Vallée des Belleville (300 kilometres of runs) and Les 3 Vallées (600 kilometres of runs).
The resort is open from November 17-May 5th each year.
